Hi!  I'm John and I started marmalade at Dogpole in 2020, followed a lifelong experience and passion for interior design.

From starting Marmalade in 2020 in Shropshire I have had a passion for the growing interest and variety of hand made Bespoke and colourful eclectic lampshades.  With this interest I have expanded my knowledge of hand crafting a variety of Drum, Cone and hand Sewn fringed shades and understanding the importance that they have in providing the right atmosphere and lighting within a room.  I have a selection of Shades that I have previously made for clients on show on my website which can be made to order , I also see the importance of customers wanting something unique for their interior, with me providing a bespoke service in which customers can provide their own material and creative ideas, but at the heart of thisis providing a quality hand crafted shade.
