Would you like to learn how to make a Lampshade! or know someone that would!

Why not join John at our workshop classes, who will instruct you through the process of making a 30cm Diameter cotton Drum Lampshade with a white laminate interior.

You will be instructed and provided with all you need to make the shade, including a choice of our signature colorful cotton & velvet materials, or perhaps you have your own material that you would like to use, which can be bought along to the class. You will be taught how to apply the material to the laminate, how to correctly trim the material, how to apply a tape to the rings and then how to roll the shade, make the seam and then tuck and trim the material around the rings all with the experienced John.

all of our students get individual attention from John whilst making the shade as we only restrict our classes to three students at a time.

When you leave the class you will have knowledge of all the fundamentals of making a Lampshade, which can be totally addictive!

Why not Bring along a friend or two, we offer great discounts for booking two or three students.  You are also able to purchase a gift voucher for our workshop classes.

We are running classes on Monday afternoon’s once a month or Thursday evenings once a month at ‘Interiors at St Mary’s Street” in Shrewsbury, or we can organize other dates for a group of Two or Three upon request.

The Monday day class starts at 2pm and the Thursday evening class starts at 7.00pm, the class runs for approximately 2 – 2.5 hours and light refreshments will be provided.
